According to Art. 4 (1) GDPR, personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly. Further information on this can be found in Art. 4 No. 1 GDPR.
Insofar as we cite our legitimate interest or a legitimate interest of a third party (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR) as the legal basis for the processing of personal data, you have the right to object in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR.
In accordance with Art. 21 (1) and (2) GDPR
you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time. We will not process your personal data following an objection unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims (see Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR, so-called “limited right to object”). In this case, you must provide reasons for the objection that arise from your particular situation.
In the following text, we will draw your attention to the right to object in the individual sections with the note “You have the right to object”, insofar as this right exists. There you will also find further information on exercising your right to object.

Data security
We use technical and organizational measures to secure our website and other systems against loss, destruction, access, modification or dissemination of your data by unauthorized persons. Despite regular checks, however, complete protection against all risks is not possible.
SSL or TLS encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Purposes of processing and recipients
Contract processing
BLEICHERT or service providers commissioned by us process your personal data for the fulfillment and/or initiation of a contract with you and/or your employer. This includes the complete processing of inquiries, orders, project processing, invoicing, acceptance, complaint processing, visit reports and communication with you.
To fulfill the contract and/or initiate a contract with you or your employer, we also transfer your personal data to third parties (e.g. affiliated companies within Germany, the European Union or third countries such as the USA or China). The legal basis for the processing and provision of your personal data is therefore the processing for the fulfillment and execution of the contract.
Advertising and customized offers by means of customer data analysis
BLEICHERT also uses your personal data to send you product information, Christmas and/or New Year greetings and information about trade fairs and exhibitions. The legal basis is a legitimate interest. BLEICHERT’s legitimate interest is to be able to offer you and/or your employer customized products and services, to improve services and products and to keep the master data up to date.
Other recipients and purposes
BLEICHERT may have some of the aforementioned processes and services carried out by carefully selected and commissioned (IT) service providers who may also be based outside the EU/EEA (third country). In these cases, data is transferred to third countries. Data protection agreements are contractually agreed with the service providers in accordance with the legal requirements to ensure an appropriate level of data protection. Other companies commissioned by BLEICHERT may include in particular: tax offices, insurance companies or affiliated companies. These process personal data on our behalf. If the service providers do not work for us as part of order processing, e.g. design offices, suppliers or affiliated companies, the legal basis for the transfer of data is that the services of third parties are necessary for the purpose of optimized and efficient performance of the contract with you or your employer. The legal basis for the transfer of data to third parties is a balancing of interests. In this case, our legitimate interest lies in evaluating the acceptance of our products and determining the satisfaction of our customers as well as evaluating your interests.
Duration of storage and deletion of your data
We delete your personal data from the contact data masters if you so wish or if we determine during a review that the data record can no longer be assigned. All other documents are archived and backed up at least in accordance with the legal basis or the retention obligation specified in the contracts. The legal basis for processing is a balancing of interests.
Rights of data subjects (Art. 15 ff. GDPR)
You have the right to request information free of charge (Art. 15 GDPR) about your personal data stored by us. In the event of incorrect data, you have the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR). If the legal requirements are met, you have the right to erasure and restriction of processing (Art. 17 et seq. GDPR). The deletion will generally take place after expiry of the retention periods under tax and commercial law.
Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you can complain to the State Commissioner for Data Protection about the processing of the data:

Data collection on our website
Below you can find out where we collect personal data from you and why.
Log files
Each time you visit our website, we automatically collect data and information from your device’s system and store it in so-called server log files. This data is information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person (here: website visitor). The data is automatically transmitted by your browser when you visit our website. The following data is collected:
The time our website was accessed (request to the host provider’s server), URL of the website from which you accessed our website,
the operating system you are using, type and version of the browser you are using, IP address of your computer (the IP address is stored pseudonymized).
The purpose of this processing is to ensure that our website can be accessed from your device and to enable our website to be displayed correctly on your device or in your browser. Furthermore, we use the data to optimize our website and to ensure the security of our systems.
The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in presenting you with a website that is optimized for your browser and enabling communication between our server and your end device. In particular, the processing of your IP address is necessary for the latter.
We store this data for one month.

You have the right to object. You can send or inform us of your objection at any time. Please use the address of the person responsible for the website on the subject of data protection.
Cookies
Your cookie settingsOur website uses cookies. These are text files that are stored on your device to make using a website more convenient. Inputs and settings on a website can be saved in cookies so that you do not have to enter them again each time you visit a website. Cookies contain a so-called cookie ID, which makes it possible to assign the device in which the cookie was stored.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.
The purpose of this processing is to make your use of our website more convenient and to offer you the option of saving settings.
The legal basis for the processing – insofar as personal data is concerned – is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in presenting you with a website that saves your personal settings and makes it easier for you to visit our website.
Right of objection
You have the right to object. You can restrict or completely prevent the setting of cookies in your browser settings. You can also arrange for the automatic deletion of cookies when you close the browser window, but we would like to point out that in both cases you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent.
Contact form
There are one or more contact forms on our website that you can use to contact us electronically. If you contact us via these contact forms, the data entered in the input fields will be processed by us.
You have expressly consented to the processing of this data before sending the contact form.
We treat mandatory and voluntary information in the same way. The mandatory information is necessary in order to contact you and process your request.
The following data is also stored when you send the message:
Your IP address
Date and time of sending
The purpose of processing the personal data is to process the contact request and to be able to get in touch with the enquirer to respond to the request. The other personal data processed during the sending process is used to prevent misuse of our contact form.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data described here is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to offer you the opportunity to contact us at any time and to be able to answer your inquiries.
The personal data will only be processed for as long as is necessary to provide the function.
Right of objection
You have the right to object. You can send or inform us of your objection at any time. Please use the address of the person responsible for the website on the subject of data protection.
Google Maps
We use Google Maps on our website. Google Maps is a service provided by Google Inc (“Google”), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
The Google Maps plug-in is integrated by embedding the service on our website by means of a so-called “iFrame”. When loading this iFrame, Google may collect and process information (including personal data). It cannot be ruled out that Google may also transmit the information to a server in a third country.
As can be seen from Google’s Privacy Shield certification (available at https://www.privacyshield.gov/list under the search term “Google”), Google has undertaken to comply with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework published by the US Department of Commerce and the Swiss-US Privacy Shield Framework on the collection, use and storage of personal data from the member states of the EU and Switzerland. Google, including Google LLC and its wholly owned subsidiaries in the US, has certified that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles. You can find more information on this at https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/frameworks/.
We ourselves cannot influence which data Google actually collects and processes. However, Google states that the following information (including personal data) may be processed:
Log data (in particular the IP address)
Location-related information
Unique application numbers
Cookies and similar technologies
Detailed information can be found at https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/index.html under the section “Data we receive based on your use of our services”.
If you are logged into your Google Account, Google may add the processed information to your account and treat it as personal data, depending on your account settings, see in particular https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/partners/.
Google states the following, among other things:
“We may combine personal data from one service with information and personal data from other Google services. This makes it easier for you to share content with friends and acquaintances, for example. Depending on your account settings, your activities on other websites and in apps may be linked to your personal data in order to improve Google’s services and the advertising displayed by Google.” (https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/index.html)
You can prevent this data from being added directly by logging out of your Google account or by making the appropriate account settings in your Google account. Furthermore, you can prevent the installation of cookies – if Google sets any – by making the appropriate settings in your browser, but we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent.
By integrating Google Maps, we pursue the purpose of being able to display corresponding addresses and provide you with further information. This integration of Google Maps also enables us to present locations to you, whereby you are not limited to individual map sections and can research distances etc. independently.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data described here is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our necessary legitimate interest lies in the great benefit that Google Maps offers. By integrating Google Maps, we do not have to display the directions to the respective locations using confusing directions or similar, but instead enable each user to plan their journey independently. Google also has a legitimate interest in the (personal) data collected in order to improve its own services.
You can find more information in Google’s privacy policy, which you can access here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Use of OpenStreetMap
We use OpenStreetMaps on our website. OpenStreetMap is a community project and is managed by the Openstreetmap Foundation, 132 Maney Hill Road, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, B72 1JU, United Kingdom.
OpenStreetMap is integrated by embedding the service on our website using a so-called “iFrame”. When loading this iFrame, OpenStreetMap may collect and process information (including personal data). It cannot be ruled out that OpenStreetMap may also transmit the information to a server in a third country.
We ourselves cannot influence which data OpenStreetMap actually collects and processes. However, OpenStreetMaps states that access is recorded when the services are called up, for example by log files.
Further information can be found at https://wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy under the section “Log files and Information submitted to OSMF Services”.
By integrating OpenStreetMaps, we pursue the purpose of being able to display our address to you. We can also present places to you through this integration of OpenStreetMaps.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data described here is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our necessary legitimate interest lies in the great benefit that OpenStreetMaps offers. By integrating OpenStreetMaps, we do not have to display the directions to the respective locations on the basis of confusing directions or similar, but enable each user to plan their journey independently. OpenStreetMaps also has a legitimate interest in the (personal) data collected in order to improve its own services.

Use of YouTube
We use videos from YouTube and YouTube plug-ins on our website. YouTube is a service provided by YouTube LLC (“YouTube”), 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. YouTube LLC is a subsidiary of Google Inc (“Google”), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
YouTube is integrated by embedding the service on our website by means of a so-called “iFrame”. When loading this iFrame, YouTube or Google may collect and process information (including personal data). It cannot be ruled out that YouTube or Google may also transmit the information to a server in a third country.
As can be seen from Google’s Privacy Shield certification (available at https://www.privacyshield.gov/list under the search term “Google”), Google has undertaken to comply with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-US Privacy Shield Framework published by the US Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use and storage of personal data from the member states of the EU and Switzerland respectively. Google, including Google LLC and its wholly owned subsidiaries in the US, has certified that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles. You can find more information on this at https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/frameworks/.
We ourselves cannot influence which data YouTube or Google actually collects and processes. However, YouTube and Google state that the following information (including personal data) may be processed:
Log data (in particular the IP address)
Location-related information
Unique application numbers
Cookies and similar technologies
Detailed information can be found at https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/index.html under the section “Data we receive based on your use of our services”.
If you are logged into your YouTube or Google account, YouTube or Google may add the processed information to your account and treat it as personal data, depending on your account settings, see in particular https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/partners/.
This is explained:
“We may link personal data from one service with information and personal data from other Google services. This makes it easier for you to share content with friends and acquaintances, for example. Depending on your account settings, your activities on other websites and apps may be linked to your personal data in order to improve Google’s services and advertising displayed by Google.” (https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/index.html)
You can prevent this data from being added directly by logging out of your YouTube or Google account or by making the appropriate account settings in your YouTube or Google account. Furthermore, you can prevent the installation of cookies – insofar as such are set by Google or YouTube – by making the appropriate settings in your browser; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.
By integrating YouTube, we pursue the purpose of being able to present various videos to you on our website so that you can watch them directly on our website.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data described here is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our necessary legitimate interest lies in the great benefit that YouTube offers. By integrating external videos, we reduce the load on our servers and can use the corresponding resources for other purposes. Among other things, this can increase the stability of our servers. YouTube and Google also have a legitimate interest in the (personal) data collected in order to improve their own services.
You can find more information in YouTube’s or Google’s privacy policy, which you can access here:
www.google.com/policies/privacy/
