Turning station horizontal (AV4H)
Turning stations or turntables are located within the conveyor system and are used for horizontal re-positioning. Turntables have the function to move pallets or work items in a single rotation from one conveyor to another conveyor.
At the turning station there is a conveying system installed (e.g. roller conveyor or chain conveyor). The turning station is in principle an integral part of the conveying plant, and is intrinsically covered with a guard as standard.
BLEICHERT turning stations are available in different drive variations, depending on your application.

AV4H6 Swivel station swing gate
The swing gate creates an access point at the roller- and chain conveyor plant, or it makes the re-positioning of a work item at a corner station possible. The swivel action of the swing gate can be manual, fully or partly motorised.
Turning station vertical (AV4V)
Vertical turning stations also known as rotation units are used within the conveying systems e.g. as an inspection station.
The rotation unit which serves as a vertical turning device, inverts the work items. Thereby different conveying elements, such as a chain conveyor or roller conveyor can be built into the rotation unit.
When the rotation unit is used for inspection purposes at the testing station, then this is mostly performed manually. Motorised rotation units are often used when a work item needs to be put into a different position or to remove residual dirt e.g. oil/emulsion out of pocket holes.
Shuttle units are used to transfer pallets or work items from one conveyor to another by means of a lateral linear movement. Mostly top mounted, shuttle units are chain or roller conveyors. However telescopic forks or specially adapted work item grippers or lifting units are also possible.
Shuttle units from BLEICHERT are available in various designs suitable for all your applications.
The shuttles, powered by a three phase current – or a servomotor are mostly driven by a rack and pinion combination, over a clamped toothed belt or over a friction wheel or live roller drives.
The power- and data transmission to the mobile base unit is carried out via a running e- chain or a fixed conductor line. Optical data couplers and WLAN are also used in data transmission.
Lifting station (AV2K)
The multi level lifting units are tasked with the transportation of work pieces from one level to another. They are used as lifting units for all conveyor systems.
Lifting stations from BLEICHERT are available in various designs suitable for all your applications.
The mobile base unit of the lifting station is usually powered by a three phase current or a servomotor, over a rack and pinion combination, a chain, a toothed belt or over a crank rocker mechanism. Shorter lifting units are implemented directly via pneumatic- or hydraulic cylinders.
The energy transmission to the mobile base unit occurs via a running e- chain.
The mobile base unit is positioned by the absolute encoder on the motor or via a positioning laser.
Additionally by request, we can supply standby drives, chains, props and safety catch devices.
Buffer storage module (AP7Z)
A buffer storage module is used for the automated temporary storage of work items in the production process. Conveyors typically transport work items via a linear gantry or a stacker crane, which stores the work items automatically in defined shelf positions, and can be programmed accordingly, for example the FIFO – principle (first in first out).
Where integration into an existing system is limited due to awkward or restricted spaces, the BLEICHERT round buffer unit is the appropriate customer solution.
Control stations (AV8K)
At, during and after various process stages, work items need to be examined, measured and visually surveyed.
For these tasks BLEICHERT has different possibilities to remove work pieces out of the process, for example via an SPC draw or to integrate a control station directly into the conveyor system.
Add - on components
Add – on components such as e.g. camera systems are necessary when a work item needs to be identified, verified, monitored for safety, or whether it needs to be accessed within the plant complex.
The add – on component “stopper” is used in the conveyor literally to stop the components or pallets at the required work station. The “stopper” units are available from BLEICHERT is 3 versions (manual, motorised or pneumatic).
The add – on “isolation barrier” component is used in the conveyor system to take one work piece or pallet at a time out of the flow and to feed it into the work process.
