Chain conveyor as an alternative to roller conveyor, space saving and versatile.

Chain conveyors are suitable for automated linear or the cross conveying of goods with stable running surfaces, particularly for pallets, or the conveying of  hot large and heavy goods, and also for light items that need to be transported quickly from A to B. Because of its robust construction, the chain conveyor can be used where roller conveyors and the belt conveyor reach their limits.

The chain conveyor can consist of more than one strand depending on the width of the goods to be transported.

The chain conveyor is ideal for transporting goods such as pallets, gitter boxes or general parts where the bottoms are uneven.

The chain conveyor is used mainly as a buffer in environments with rough conditions e.g. foundry, or as a cross transfer,  diverting goods in a roller conveyor system.

The chain conveyor distinguishes itself through its modular principle which makes it adaptable in its length and width and can be used for a wide range of applications.

The standard version is a 2 strand model. Models with 3 and 4 strands are also available.

3 different roller chains at DIN 8187, depending on the load, are used: 5/8'', ½'' or 1''. The use of duplex chains is also possible, depending on the load. The chains are guided through wear resistant steel glide rails or plastic glide rails.  The drive shaft guaranties the synchronised running of the chains so that the misalignment of goods is eliminated.

The chain conveyor consists mainly of side profiles, depending on the size – made out of steel or aluminium, crossbar, a chain drive, a chain tensioner, a support chain (5/8'', ½'', 1'') with straight straps and a robust side guide made out of steel.

The central position of the drive and tension station allows for easy maintenance of the conveyor.

The motors perform in a range from 0,25kW to 1,1kW depending on the payload and conveying length. The dual lane design handles a payload of between 20kg (½'') and 80kg (1'') per 100mm of conveying line.

The accumulating free flow chain conveyor is ideal for the transport of piece goods on pallets or other goods carriers with stable running surfaces.

The accumulating free flow chain conveyor is mainly used as a buffer in the assembly line.

The accumulating free flow chain conveyor distinguishes itself through its modular principle, the usage of innovative materials, such as aluminium alloy and high quality plastic guide slider profiles and its elegant design.

The accumulating free flow chain conveyor can be easily adapted in length and width and can so be used for a wide range of applications.

The accumulating free flow chain conveyor consists mainly of aluminium side profiles, alu - crossbars, a chain drive and a tensioner, a ¾'' accumulating roller chain as a transport element and a robust side guide made out of steel. The central position of the drive- and tension station make easy maintenance of the conveyor possible. The pre- integrated T-grooves into the aluminium profile makes it easy to add appliances. The chain redirector is covered, which provides optimal safety at work.

The motors perform in a range from 0,37kW to 1,1kW depending on the payload and conveying length. The dual lane design handles a payload of 50kg per 100mm of conveying line.

The joint hinge chain conveyor is a one- or two strand model and is the perfect conveyor for transporting any piece goods that have at least one flat surface to lay on.

The main usage for the joint hinge chain conveyor is as a feeder or as an interlinking chain conveyor for light weight transport goods in different production facilities.

The joint hinge chain conveyor distinguishes itself through its modular principle, the usage of innovative materials such as aluminium alloys and high quality plastic guide and slider profiles as well as its elegant design. It is adaptable and so can be used in various and individual applications.

The joint hinge chain conveyor consists mainly of an aluminium extruded section or a steel sheet as a side panel with plastic or steel inserts as a chain guide. The spacers allow distance from the side panel. Central to the side sections is the joint hinge chain C45, which passes back through a cover plate or plastic clip. The drive housing is mounted onto the centre section with a sheet metal frame.

A good curve run is achieved by the rounded aluminium extruded sections and the plastic runners.

Safety precautions:  Crush, shear and pinch points are covered under DIN EN 619.

Regular maintenance in respect of the joint hinge chain conveyor is not necessary.
